Nebraska's Aged & Disabled (AD) Waiver is a Medicaid program that helps eligible older adults and adults with disabilities receive certain supports in their home and community, as an alternative to institutional care. The specific services covered, and the amount of support authorized, are determined through the Nebraska Medicaid/DHHS assessment and planning process.
Eligibility is determined by Nebraska Medicaid/DHHS.
Generally, the AD Waiver is designed for Nebraska residents who are aged or have a disability, meet a level-of-care requirement, and meet Nebraska Medicaid financial and program criteria.
